In 2019 and 2020, The Mirrored Glass moved to Detroit with the theme "Involving Detroit Youth and the Arts in Building the Future of Detroit" targeting local institutions in and around the Midtown and Downtown area with challenging the sustainability of Detroit's new investments. The current objective is to allow more youth to be involved with the city's decision-making, and to provide more funding and balance among arts funding and career opportunities throughout the city. Annual major event partnerships include the Detroit Month of Design and the Midtown Arts and Auto Festival.
Currently, The Mirrored Glass: Detroit’s Ensembles for the Collaborative Arts, is a youth-centered organization within the city of Detroit dedicated to providing access and opportunities to young professionals and artists through multidisciplinary collaborations, public performances, workshops, and community-centered activations.
